PUBLIC EXCHANGE LIBRARY

I have created an exchange library to help develop the reading level in Limassol. As a citizen of this city, I always want the best for my city. I strongly believe in promoting book reading and generally developing around the field of literacy. Reading as it is widely accepted, offers multiple benefits to man. In recent years, an effort has been made by all stakeholders to promote literacy. I believe that literacy can be greatly promoted in the society we live in, by installing outdoor spare libraries in key points of our city. So I created a library on my own initiative and at an expense, in an effort to contribute to my city. The general idea behind the creation of the first library is based on the fact that citizens will be able to exchange their books whenever they want. This in itself becomes a basis for cultivating and promoting a sense of social responsibility. A library built with respect for the environment, which is a jewel in the space. A living cell of culture available to the public. A reunion of the romantic idea of the lending library with our current modern way of life.
